‘The hirer’ or ‘You’ - the person making the booking.
‘We’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ – Sleepova Adventures.
‘Equipment’ - materials hired and delivered as part of the booking.
Booking and Cancellation
We require a £50 deposit to secure the date of your party at the time of booking, the booking date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged. Should you decide to cancel your party for whatever reason, this deposit will not be returned.
The total balance for the booking will be due 7 days prior to set-up or delivery. No equipment shall be delivered until full payment has been received.
The £50 deposit will also be used as a damage deposit, which will be returned (usually within 48hours) of the equipment being returned unstained and damage free. You are liable for any damage to the equipment.
Where possible we will try to accommodate changes to party dates but will require at least 7 days notice, in circumstances whereby a new date cannot be agreed on, no deposit will be returned. Changes made less than 7 days prior to the event or cancellations due to illness will be subject to the full booking fee.
All prices are subject to change, however the price quoted when the booking enquiry is received will be the price the hirer pays.
We reserve the right to cancel the party booking or refuse to accept the booking should the premises be deemed unsuitable, whether due to accessibility issues, lack of space or without the authority to hold the party in the space. If we do have to cancel the party for the reasons mentioned or for another reason prior to full payment being received the booking deposit will be returned. However, if information has not been fully declared at the time of booking and these issues arise after the time full payment is due or at the time of delivery or set up, then no monies will be refunded.
In the unlikely event that Sleepova Adventures need to cancel your booking, we will give as much notice as possible, however we will not pay any additional compensation in light of the cancellation, outside of payment previously received.
Responsibilities of hirer
It is the hirers responsibility to ensure children are supervised around the equipment. The tent frame is designed to remain stable and safe, however playfighting, pillow fights and other rough play could cause structures to become unstable, as such these activities are prohibited. The wooden tent frames are not play items and are not designed to be climbed on. String lights, bunting, flower strings and other stringed items can present a risk of strangulation if not used as designed – once set up these items should remain connected to the tents to prevent serious injury.
It is the hirers duty to remain the responsible person for any children in their care, we accept no responsibility for injury or damage as a result of misuse, lack of care or recklessness.
You are responsible for ensuring you have enough space for the number of sleepover tents booked. Each tent requires a space of 90cm by 180cm – breakfast tables measure W36cm by L70cm and recommended placement is at the end of the mattress, however, can be placed on the mattress or elsewhere. There should be enough space around each tent to enable safe passage. No refund will be given if you do not have ample space for the equipment at time of delivery.
If you have selected a self set-up package, then you take full responsibility of ensuring that the equipment is set up safely as per written and image instructions.
We take no responsibility if we have not been made aware of any allergies of equipment users at the time of booking.
Strictly no naked flames or cigarettes should be used in or around equipment.
No sharp objects are allowed in or around the equipment.
Equipment is suitable for children over 3 years.
Pets are not allowed on the equipment.
The equipment is suitable for indoor use only.
The hirer takes full responsibility for ensuring the equipment is returned as it was received and, in a damage and stain-free manner. The hirer must pay any costs incurred beyond the £50 damage deposit.
Sleepova Adventures has full public liability insurance, and we adhere to GDPR regulations. None of your information will be passed to 3rd parties unless you request it do so for the sake of providing additional services. We may contact you to alert you to relevant future services or products, so please let us know if you would rather not be contacted again.
